new arrivals: top picks from the nature baby production team
The first of our new season collection has started to arrive in store and online, with more coming soon. This season our growing range of everyday styles in fresh new prints and colours is inspired by childhood summers in far off places. We always look forward to sharing with you what we have been working on, and our lovely Production Team have chosen some of their top picks from the new range to tell us a little more about…
We love all things comfy and soft! For this season we can’t get enough of our fresh new fabric, organic stretch jersey cotton. Made with 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane- with that little bit of extra stretch that growing bubs will love.
Our stretch jersey is certified organic by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), which is the strictest certification for organic fabrics on the market today. This gives us extra assurance there are no harmful chemicals used at any stage of the production, as well as looking after the environment and our workers.
The stretch jersey has quite a different look and feel to our other organic rib and jersey fabrics, and gives a different kind of performance too. It has a little more of a “polished” look and feel, but is still wonderfully comfy like a second skin. We have more in this fabric coming over the next few weeks!
Our favourite new style this season is the Sunday Pant, designed as a hybrid between our classic drawstring pants and leggings. With a super comfortable fit around the waist, with lots of room for nappies, and ensuring little one can move and sleep without feeling any restriction. Yet the Sunday pPant has a stylish tapered leg, so baby can be out and about and looking dashing too!
We have so many new prints to love this season, but one that you can’t go past for both boys and girls is our new Patience Print. Inspired by a Japanese cube game (requiring patience), this print is a lovely warm grey that pairs well with all other colours and styles. A delicate print that is a classic neutral, it will last well through the season and beyond.
