In celebrating Fashion Revolution Week and asking the question 'Who Made My Clothes?'. We take a peek into a recent trip to India where co- founder Jacob Faull interviewed some of the wonderful individuals who make our products come to life at Nature Baby.
Amy from our Production Team has been with Nature Baby for over 12 years now, and visits our organic factories in India regularly. We hope you enjoy hearing a little bit about Amy, what she does, and why.
Merino wool is the perfect fabric for babies, it insulates, absorbs moisture, breathes and is soft and non-irritating. Merino wool is surprisingly easy to care for but just needs a bit of love to ensure it stays in the best condition.
Organic cotton is fine, soft and strong. It is the ideal fibre for a baby's sensitive skin as it is chemical-free. Organic cotton is woven to make our muslins, pointelle, sweatshirting, jersey and rib fabrics.
Certified organic materials are best for baby and the planet, as harmful chemicals are not used and strict regulations apply. We use GOTS certified organic cotton and wool, ZQ accredited merino wool, and 1% non-certified (our swimwear range).
